I read up on this nice fellow, Avayr. I think you and I can win this if we both get to level 66 and we work on getting our staff skill up in the meantime. The drop can be as bad as 1 out of 12.

I'm game. I could always go as drk/thf also. The spawn time is 10hrs according to some reports.. and only if the overgrown rose placeholder is not attacked. Reports say that the rose will disappear and become an NM if not attacked for a 10hr period. I would really like the drop for my smn job.. but only if ppl are willing to give this a try. I could always just save up for an ether ring.. but there are so many expensive equips I already want for smn.. LOL.
