Because the people at SE can’t seem to get their heads out of their asses and because level 1 support completely blows goat balls, I’m getting the XBOX 360 version tonight.

In effect, my firm paid for my XBOX 360 (so, it's not my money)- otherwise I wouldn't have even bought it. :-)
Plus, given your fine summary of why XBOX 360 FFXI > all other platform FFXI, how could I *not* purchase it?
Also, playing on a couch is better than playing in computer chair.
