Not my info, but something interesting I ran across
"Basically, in lvl cap areas like, ENMs, BCNM, KSNM, and battle areas.
Apparently adding any spells past the 25 blupoint limit that are pre lv 40 stay on the character.
Giving in to u adding a TON of glitched oppertunities like adding all the traits or Stat +'s to give you an even better edge.
Frost's Spell list
Head Butt
Feather Storm
Bludgeon
Jet Stream
Wild Carrot
Cocoon
Metalic Body
Blastbomb
Bomb Toss
Uppercut
~~~~~~~~~ 25 points~~~~~~~~~~~~
These are the "added" spells we got to give us the traits that would help out:
Battle Dance (with uppercut gives "Attack Bonus")
Grand Slam
Terror Touch (with Grand Slam gives "Defence Bonus" helps with Cocoon)
Cursed Sphere
Sound Blast (Sound Blast with Cursed Spehere gives "Magic Atk +" Sound Blast helps with Fire spells being cast on u)
Mysterous Light (with Metalic Body gives "MP Bonus +10")
Healing Breeze
Pollen (added for the HP + stats)
~~~~~45 points (71+ blu mage)~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Wow with these extra spells and traits, there is almost no way u can lose this BC now.
Spells as a list for Copy/Paste to FFXI
Head Butt
Feather Storm
Bludgeon
Jet Stream
Wild Carrot
Cocoon
Metalic Body
Blastbomb
Bomb Toss
Uppercut
Battle Dance
Grand Slam This is the cutoff when Copy/paste to ffxi
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~The Guide 4 BCNM40 Under Observation~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
All come close to the circle without aggroing the 3 Hecteye mobs. Buff Metallic Skin, Cocoon, Protect, Shell, etc.
The 2 BLU/NIN Call one target each. one should target the left compound eye and one will target the right compound eye.
BLU/WHM(RDM) Casts Dia on the Sobbing Eye ( Boss mob ) and begins running back to the Entrance of the BCNM.
As the 3 monsters pass the 2 BLU/NIN BA Feather Storm on there respective targets. The two BLU/NIN Should should face AWAY <------ from the monster while casting all spells. This is very important. The hecteyes will spam the skill "hex eye" which has a powerful paralyze effect. Cast Headbutt, Bludgeon, CA Jetstream. Then cycle Headbutt and bludgeon only or you may run out of mp. Brining a yag drink and ether incase this happens is a pretty good idea but generally you'll have enough MP to do the job. After the compound eyes are dead, rest to full mp.
The BLU/WHM should continue to kite the mob while the 2 BLU/NIN rest there mp to full. once this is done the BLU/WHM brings the sobbing eyes back to the BLU/NIN where you should use the same tactic as you did the compound eyes. The Sobbing eye can cast breakga so having the BLU/WHM hang back for emergancy cures if a good idea. Or have the BLU/WHM stay close and have a trigger finger on headbutt for Breakga or Firaga. If/when you get caught in breakga don't worry to much it doesn't last very long.
9-12 runs for me generally yields 1-3 Peacock charms and some Ni's/Erase. What my group does is the "your orb your drop" on everything except the peacock charms. The first 2 runs we lotted on the peacock charms until everyone had one to use personally. Then we'd mule the charms before we did runs and sell/split any charm we got after that.
Edit (pre Glitch tactics)
Now that the BLU/WHM has Mysterous Light in spell list, u can use that to your advantage by giving it the weighted down effect. Making it MUCH easier to kite. Everyone should use Sound Blast at least once on their mob to help with the Fire dammage. As for all the other spells, keep the the origional guide to help with the upkeep of MP. ^^
Terror Touch
Cursed Sphere
Sound Blast
Mysterous Light
Healing Breeze
Pollen
a made the Night so much better when we got 3 PCCs
On the pic it said i had 32/25 but i had about 45/25 with all the "added" traits, stat +s, and spells,
cool thing is that even tho u have only 12 spells, when u go to see what spells u can use, u have all the ones that u put on, so when i did it i think i had about 20 spells total when i was only Supposed to have 12. REALLY cool!!!! tell ur friends to PM me about it.
OHH and if u were wondering what PFG is, its the codename we gave it when we were going to talk about it, so SE wouldnt know about the glitch, it stands for the 3 people that discovered it.
(P)yrostrike, (F)rostyfrosty, (G)ooo
