WOOT! They have just unlocked the passwords for the Strange Apparatuses! Read all about it at this link.

I will be running and seeing what (if anything) this changes. And then I will update the Strange Aparatus guide I wrote with the new information.

NInja pwns you in Ballista!

For those who don't know (I play really early in the morning when there are mostly just mules) I recently got my RNG to 70 (yay! killed Maat! after 4 tries;;) Now I am trying to level up my NIN (which was 29, I know, I suck). I never really liked NIN (or WAR) because I hated tanking (Mithra suck at tanks), but I am doing okay now.

Maior has lit a fire under alot of our asses with his Ballista Guide so I decided to take NIN out to a Ballista when he hit 30. I wasn't expecting to do very well, but DAMN was I surprised^^

Static Woe

As many of you know, I play in the wee hours of the morning. I work nights, and so this is when I play. When I am online, the predominant nationality of the players is Japanese. There are also some Europeans, but they are too low to really party with me yet. Aside from my Asian brothers and sisters, I have a small number of friends I've made from the states (and Canada) who work nights like me. Several of us have formed a little psuedo-static party.

We have me (RNG/THF, if you didn't know), a SMN/WHM (our main healer), a NIN/WAR (our main tank), a MNK/WAR (backup tank and DD), a BLM/WHM (backup healer) and then a RDM/WHM and a BRD/WHM which we change out as needed. On the surface, this all seems great.

Ugh, schedule differences

From statistics pointed out before we know that there are quite a few people in this clan. However, due to schedule differences, I never see you guys!

Weekend goals...

So I've been kind of in a slump with all my farming (yeech) and camping of NMs (damned people camping Valk Emp!) and my weekdays seem to just blend with my weekends. It used to be that I was doing a lot of really special and different things on the weekends (like missions, or getting to some level, or whatever) but since I can't afford really to level up any more (equipment has gotten so expensive) since I helped everyone with 3-3, I've just been farming.

This weekend, however, I have some definite goals!

Emigration?!

Has anyone else seen this message on the server about world emigration? WTH is this? I just logged in this morning and was met with it.

Is anyone in this clan thinking of it? If we all migrated, would we all end up in the same server?

Migrating does have some perks. For one, we would help dictate the economy in the new server. For another, we would have much better opportunities camping certain overcamped NMs in our server.

Stoopid Jerks

Many of you know that I made the money I needed to bankroll my RNG through 40 from a certain wonderful Valkurm Emperor drop back in June. Well, I have run out of money lately, and am looking for another Emperor to fund me through my next 10 or so levels. Unfortunately, I am not having any luck what with all the new people camping him since I last did.

Rank 3 Mission 3

Apparently both Sam and Madboy need to do Rank 3 Mission 3. Well, I had a lot of fun doing it when I did (best hour and a half ever!) so I'll be willing to help. But my question is, does anyone else need it? Wanna do it this weekend?

So close, yet so far...

It's been a really long time since I've had a bad party. I think it's been over a month (since my blog entry about the Dunes). Since then, I've found a couple of psuedo-static parties and have screamed RNG up to 38, as well as started and gotten NIN to 25. But the psuedo-static parties haven't been on in a while, and I've been left slumming it this week. All of this means that it is taking me a hell of a lot longer to get to 40 than it should!

Beastmaster Challenge

Sam has been telling me for a while that BSTs can work good in parties with other BSTs, and that a full party of BSTs each with different subs can be like an Alliance with normal party exp.

I never believed him until I finally saw it in action this weekend!
